A brand new “just born” website

RM (Ruben Malán) Piano & Keyboard Studio, my brand new (unfinished) official studio website is in its infancy.  It’s in its “crawling” stage now, and will be ready to “walk” very soon. Defying the customary procedure of completing a site before publishing it, I’m using an experimental (and perhaps risky) approach. Starting practically from scratch, with the basic headers and first post, I’m developing it step by step and day by day, publicly, so you can watch.  Why?  A mixture of reasons:

• I’m a musician, an educator, not a web designer (I wish).
• I want to keep my expenses low and stay within my budget.
• I want to have a complete control of the process so I can keep everything within my own taste.
• I want to learn about this “new world” (for me) and I’m excited about improving my skills. I’m committed to learning.
• I have a deep need to experiment and explore new venues. It excites me to have an adventure and take risks.
• I want to be original by offering something new, constructive, useful, and classy.
• This absorbing and addictive experiment is becoming my second hobby.
• I want to do more than just market my studio and sell my services.
• And finally, I just like to share my effort and my growth with you, my friends and my students.

Therefore, even if the page won’t be ready tomorrow, please come back. Follow me in this process and you will find something new every day on it. In addition, I am constantly editing my posts since, after re-reading them a few hours later, I’m discovering more typos and wrong syntax. My poor English!  Just sharing! Spanish is my mother tongue and I learned English in my 40s.  Yes, I know… I should probably hire a professional editor. But just for now, I’m doing everything by myself, even the graphic art and the photos. I’m taking great pleasure in the creation of this web site and, in the long run, I hope it pleases you, as well.
